Background

Starbucks has started 2026 with a fresh winter menu, launching a variety of drinks in its stores starting January 6. The global coffee chain is expanding its offering with caramel protein beverages, Dubai chocolate-inspired iced drinks, and the return of pistachio favourites.

To lead the menu, Starbucks has launched two caramel protein beverages that will stay on the menu throughout the year. The Caramel Protein Matcha delivers between 28 and 31 grams of protein, while the Caramel Protein Latte contains around 27 to 29 grams. Customers can order both drinks hot or iced and choose between classic caramel syrup or a newly introduced sugar-free caramel option.

The company has also tapped into the popular Dubai chocolate trend. The winter lineup now includes the Iced Dubai Chocolate Mocha and Iced Dubai Chocolate Matcha. The matcha version blends unsweetened matcha with pistachio sauce, milk, and ice, finished with chocolate cream cold foam and a salted brown-butter topping. The mocha option features Starbucks espresso, chocolate sauce, and milk over ice, topped with pistachio cream cold foam and the same salted finish.

Pistachio flavours have made a strong comeback this season. Starbucks has brought back the Pistachio Latte, Pistachio Cream Cold Brew, and Pistachio Frappuccino. The chain has also added a new Pistachio Cortado, offering a richer and more balanced coffee option for fans of the flavour.

Starbucks updated its menu after a year of innovation in 2025, focusing on healthy trends, global flavors, and lower-sugar choices that customers want. The menu includes protein-rich drinks, popular dessert flavors, and seasonal favorites to keep customers coming back through the winter.
